Hi everyone! Sorry I haven’t posted life was a little crazy with self-quaratining with a COVID-19 scare. I just didn’t have the mental state to actually post. But with my time away I decided to come up with a simple schedule for myself that will start next week so I can have different posts throughout the week.
The schedule goes as followed:
Sunday: No posts
Monday: Craft-tastic Monday
Will be a craft I am working on or have finished. Or just posts of crafts that I am looking forward to starting!
Tuesday: No posts
Wednesday: Witchy Wednesday
Mainly will be composed of updates on what I am currently learning for my path and what I am focusing on.
Thursday: No posts
Friday: No posts
Saturday: Weekly Tarot!
This will have all of my Daily Tarot readings from the week into one post! Just to keep the blog a little less consumed of readings.
I might throw in a few random posts here and there as surprises if I feel up to it. But, life gets crazy sometimes, so I might not always have time to make a post. But! If I get the hang of the above schedule I might start thinking about doing Blogmas this year! 😁
Today is Monday, August 3, 2020. Monday is a work day typically for me. So most of the day I focus on work. After work I typically do chores, cook, and if I have time will try and relax. I asked the cards again today to see what I should focus on.
About the Card
Diplomatic and open-minded.
The father of cups is the most feminine of all the fathers within the tarot and is usually a patron of the arts. Dignified man who supports his family and community.
Only thing holding this person back is their deeply rooted insecurities, which are vast and affect their personality.
Be more open-minded and not take everything to heart. Continue to support my family and community like I do, but focus on trying to be better mentally. If someone says something that is bothersome, don’t let it affect me like it usually does, but brush it off instead.
Today is Sunday, August 2, 2020. I wanted to know what to focus on today. Sunday’s I typically like to relax and spend time with my boyfriend and family. I did have some plans to work on crafting some vinyl pieces and decorating my Cricut and making a post to share throughout the process, but it looks like the cards have another plan.
About the Card
Courage and inner strength.
The seven of wands contains a single wand in the center ablaze with light, while the rest of the wands fall away into the shadows.
You will only find strength or support from yourself, not anyone else.
Be courageous and stand for what you believe in, don’t let others try and stray your from your path of brightness. If someone doesn’t believe in what you do or stand up for you, step up and do it yourself. There is nothing greater and more empowering than being confident and standing up for yourself!
Hello! 🤗 Welcome to my first blog post for Witch-Crafty! This will just be a short intro on what the blog is about and what to expect. You can find more information and specifics about the blog and how it will be sectioned out on the About Me page.
To start, my name is Madi and I am into crafting and witchcraft. I have been crafting since I was a kid and it has been a passion for as long as I can remember. I want to share some crafts that I make on here, but it might not be often that I share crafts because my main focus for this blog is to share my solitary path into withcraft.
As a kid I grew up in a catholic household while going to CCD after school until middle school. We would go to church, sometimes, though more often when my great aunts were in town. I did believe in most of the religion, but I just never had the heart in it. I was Baptisted after I was one (I believe) and confirmed when I was in 5th grade. After moving away to a new school district at the end of 8th grade, I didn’t go to church as much or barley 3-4 times a year. I ended up not really believing in any religion, but always believed that something was there.
Since my sophomore year of high school, I have been interested into Wicca and paganism. That was the year we read The Crucible in my honors English class and did a lot of research about witchcraft and the Salem witch trials. Ever since then, I have gathered a few books and resources to begin practicing, but never made it too far past a beginner’s learning phase. Hence why I want to focus this blog mainly on my path for witchcraft to boost my energy and spirit to practice witchcraft.
I do want to follow a solitary path since I am still new and learning, but am open to learning about covens and possibly joining or creating one. If you have any suggestions on books I can read to help me along on my path or steps to help to start, please feel free to either leave a comment or reach out to me on the contact form! I would love to hear from you! 😊
Thank you for reading and joining me along on my path, or just sticking around for my craft updates!
